Dippin' in Dad's Good Stuff

Still sleepy, I am trying to quietly stumble around so I don't wake up 'baby' Sam (a.k.a. toddler Sam). Patrick appears and asks in his most polite voice, "Mommy, can you get me something to drink? I'm thirsty. I'm really super thirsty." You'd think this was a normal request, but for two important pieces of information: First, Patrick almost never asks for something to drink before I go downstairs. Second, his hand is covered with dark brown sticky globs. As is his face. And his pajamas too, for that matter. Aha! Chocolate!
"Patrick," I ask as lightly as I can, "have you been eating something?" "No..." he replies, not quite looking at me. I point out the fact he's covered in chocolate. "Ahh......we ate some chocolate powder," he finally confesses. I go downstairs to find two guilty boys and mikey's favorite Nesquick on the counter, open and definitely chowed upon. They only get in sort-of trouble, I think largely because it wasn't my chocolate lol!
